Inner Smile of Pan Gu Within Your Inner Heart

"What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity." -- Joseph Addison

Pan Gu Inner Smile

As I pondered on my blissful experience during the meditative state, I have asked myself "How can I maintain this loving state in my daily 3rd dimensional life with all of its day to day challenges, physical and emotional tensions, and personal and business relationship dealings?"

"Through the Inner Smile which resonates with loving-kindness within your smiling inner heart," Pan Gu answered.

According to Master Ou, "Being alive. It's not just for the material comfort, but for the spiritual enjoyment too; and the latter is more important. If your life cannot reach a relatively pure and high level, even though you have great material comfort, will you really feel happy? It's common that every person will encounter unsatisfying situations from time to time. Even if you just stay home with your family, you will still often find something annoying you. Why will this happen? It's because the family members haven't learned what real kindness and benevolence is, they do not know the right way to respect and love each other; instead, they always focus on their own feelings and enjoyment, wishing to take their portion of enjoyment from others. It's the root of conflict between people. Therefore, I wish all of you to learn the right way to be concerned about others. In this way, we can live with each other very happily. When your heart and soul reach this level, it will be a lot easier for you to receive the power from Pan Gu, and the power you receive will not be consumed by your evil thoughts.

Many people, especially patients, ask me how to achieve the best result by practicing PGSG and how to conduct themselves to have a better life. Right now, I tell you clearly that the answer is to follow the passwords, "take kindness and benevolence as basis; take frankness and friendliness to heart." To learn the right way to respect others and be concerned about others will guide you to learn the right way to keep a calm and peaceful mind.

Why can we not always keep a calm and peaceful attitude in our daily life? It's because we have been chasing personal desires too much, such as fame, profit, and enjoyment. If you learn to live this way, once you fulfill your desires you then begin to worry about losing, which prevents your heart from ever being calm. On the contrary, if you can keep a calm and peaceful mind to handle your life, you will be able to create more wealth and fortune.

If you have sickness, you should try even harder to keep a calm and peaceful mind. How calm should you be? Don't worry about what kind of diseases you have; don't be anxious. When you are practicing, you should forget about the fact you are a sick person, and should not set yourself a task impatiently like "I must get rid of my illnesses in 3 months by practicing PGSG a lot." You may set up a goal like this in your mind and contribute your great effort to it, however, you should not keep thinking about it when you are practicing the qigong. You should not focus on what kind of illnesses you have and it's not necessary for you to imagine, "To absorb more energy and let the energy work on my diseases more efficiently." Pan Gu Shengong can adjust and heal your health automatically. Your attitude determines if this automatic function can be maximized, which means if you are calm and happy then this automatic healing function can be maximized. The level of being happy is higher than the level of just being calm. How can you be happier? Think about it: there are many patients who have received great benefits by practicing PGSG; you should believe you will receive the same benefits. It means you have found the way and the hope of having a new life; you can master your new life through your own effort! Since you have mastered the method, shouldn't you feel happy!1

How can you be truly calm and open-minded? You must learn true kindness. What is true kindness? Whatever you do and say, the benefits are not primarily for you, but mainly for others. When you begin practicing true kindness, you may not be willing to work for a stranger's benefit, so first you should learn to do good things for your family. To improve your family's life, you should learn how to care for them, let their needs take precedence over your own, control your temper, and put less emphasis on your own desires and feelings. Even if you are misunderstood and blamed without reason, you should still remain calm. This is true kindness that you can offer your family. Afterward, we can give this true kindness to our students, treat people who suffer from illness with this kindness, and guide them patiently. As you do so, your kindness grows wider and deeper. That is the meaning of true kindness."2

Inner Smile: Open Secret behind Tao Practice

Openness is the image of Heaven. Calm is the image of Earth.
When open, one accepts all. When calm, one perceives all.
When open, one can accept people. When calm, one can deal with events.
When openness and calm are practiced for a long time, we become clear.
Open acceptance and calm is how Sages achieved the Tao of Heaven and Earth.

Master Ou Wen WeiMost of the enlightened Masters -- Master Ou Wen Wei, Master Choa Kok Sui, Master Miguel Nator, Alton Kamadon, Gurumayi Chidvilasananada, Sathya Sai Baba, Mantak Chia, Li Jun Feng, Michael Winn, Jose & Lloydine Arguelles -- I have known have this uniqueness amongst them which is their pure pristine like inner smile. When you look at the Dalai Lama's picture, Mona Lisa's, Lord Buddha's, Lady Kuan Yin's or babie's face, one common thing which leaves an indelible impression is their inner smile.

Inner SmileThe Inner Smile is very useful in dissolving Qi blockages, restoring everyday health and Qi flow in an infinite number of profound applications that come from unconditional self-acceptance and true kindness. The Inner Smile exercises our ability to love, starting with our own bodies. As we learn to love and accept ourselves, it becomes natural and easy for us to extend this love outward and begin to love and accept other people and nature. As one of the best exercises for stress management and self-healing, the Inner Smile induces a state of deep relaxation. Deep relaxation dissolves physical and mental tensions that cause energy blockages and unhealthy Qi.

Opening Heart to Unconditional LoveThe secret of the Inner Smile is hidden within our inner heart. This inner heart is a portal to direct experience of what is called soul. Its greatest virtue, though, is that the Inner Smile achieved by practicing the 5 practices of Pan Gu Shengong can also be a path to whole body Enlightenment. See Return to Oneness

As a final smiling thought, Confucious had an interesting insight on smiling:

We come into this world crying, while those around us smile.
We leave this world smiling, while those around us cry.

A Poem called "Smile" by Barbara Hauck, age 13

She smiled at a sorrowful stranger.
The smile seemed to make him feel better.
He remembered past kindness' of a friend
And wrote him a thank you letter.

The friend was so pleased with the thank you
That he left a large tip after lunch.
The waitress, surprised by the size of the tip,
Bet the whole thing on a hunch.

The next day she picked up her winnings,
And gave part to a man on the street.
The man on the street was grateful;
For two days he'd had nothing to eat.

After he finished his dinner,
He left for his small dingy room.
He didn't know at that moment
that he might be facing his doom.

On the way he picked up a shivering puppy
And took him home to get warm.
The puppy was very grateful
To be in out of the storm.

That night the house caught on fire.
The puppy barked the alarm.
He barked till he woke the whole household
And saved everybody from harm.

One of the boys that he rescued
Grew up to be President.
All this because of a simple smile
That hadn't cost a cent.
